The Greater Memphis Chamber endorses Mayor A C Wharton for re-election. The Chambers JOBPAC supports elected officials and candidates who promote programs and policies that create job growth and facilitate economic development growth for Memphis. Mayor Wharton has demonstrated that growth through the creation of more than 10,000 new jobs in the Memphis area. He has partnered with the Greater Memphis Chamber to recruit new industry to Memphis and retain major Fortune 500 companies. Other companies who have benefited from Mayor Wharton’s leadership include Bass Pro, Nike, Cummins, Electrolux, Mitsubishi and KTG.
