This was a short, intense campaign. Now that it's over, all I can say is THANK YOU.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you as Mayor of Memphis. Thank you for your support and your vote. Thank you for believing in yourselves. Last night, you made it clear that our city is ready to come together at last and grow together as One Memphis.

Thanks also to Minglewood Hall for their generous and terrific hospitality last night, and to Fred Spikner and Spikner Inc. for serving as our official One Memphis apparel vendor.

Some exciting details about our transition will be coming soon. There's a lot of work ahead of us, and I'm going to need you behind me every step of the way.

But for now - thank you.
